Skiing - Queenstown |

Queenstown is surrounded by some of the most spectacular alpine scenery and fantastic skiing facilities. Within easy reach of the town are two ski areas - Coronet Peak & The Remarkables and then only a scenic drive away are Treble Cone & Cardrona Ski Areas.
Most ski-touring is done between July and October, while the first of the fields may become operational in late June. The last usually closes early October, depending upon snow conditions.
